Now everywhere I go I hear persons talking about AFC being a party of rejects, discards, has beens, never was and all kinds of similar idiotic terms. One must understand that not everyone in the PPP or PNC are evil and you cannot paint everyone with the same broad brush. Our political pool is still small, hell our population is minute so where do we expect these great leaders to appear from? They wont arrive from the great US of A and start to rule the country. These men and women are right here, working hard to support whatever cause they think is just. Khemraj was PPP, Raphael was PNC, Shiela was WPA, Peter was Visionless, but these people are now uniting to CHANGE GUYANA FOR THE BETTER.
We need good people in all of the major parties to band together, put aside ideological and other difference, think of the good of the nation and mach forward as a force to be reckoned with in 2011. People like Stanley Ming, Winston Murray, Sharma, Sam Hinds, Keith Burrowes, Aubrey Armstrong, Irfaan Alli, Clifford Reis, Yesu Persaud and many other hard working Guyanese who want to see good things happen in our country.
If these people join the AFC we will definitely have a new government in 2011.

Coincidences....
I notice that many people now are focussing on educating the illiterate coolies; I wonder if they read my posts. This one, this one and this one.
I suggested in a previous post that the speed limit should be 80 kph. Coincidence nuh.
I'm glad people in authority now thinking like the ordinary man, it means we may have a future after all.......just may.....

Confused as shit
There are many things I want to write about and they all seem very important. Where to start and how deep to delve has got me stumped.
I looked at the cricket match, well we won....big surprise. If we had lost then the whole team should have been lined up and shot.
I see AFC has some program on Sharma yesterday. The putagee man (lecturer at UG) is a disgrace, the man can't pronounce H. He cuts off the others when they're speaking and is generally too emotive. Bissesar did a far much better job than the other 2. The black guy was ok but all he talked about was ideology. They should really put up the names of the persons on the panel as I don't know who these people are (I only knew who was Bissesar after his name was mentioned countless time by the putagee man).
The traffic situation has improved slightly since the implementation of the new speed limits. Police are on the road very early these days.
City looking cleaner, who coming?

Very good Mr. Charisma
Now that I know your answers I can proceed in my evaluation of your commentary.
If I was raised in an african community I'm very sure most of my friends would be black, I would enjoy playing football and probably listen to dancehall and hiphop, walk with a sawgger and probably own and wear alot of jewellry and probably have few indian friends. I may also have a mixed or an african girl.
If I was an ordinary indian I would probably listen to chutney, soca and indian songs. I would probably prefer white ball or brown rum as my rum of choice, have a lot of drunk knackabout coolies in my crew, the odd black friend, get a nice coolie (and timid) wife, plus get 3 or 4 children already and get a gyal ah rush me hairstyle. And vote fuh PPP even though me deh half dead.
Now this is the reality of the situation is that your environment plays an important part in you choosing your friends and the way you live. The segregation of the races and the continuous incitement of friction between them only cause this gap to widen.
The lifestyles are different due to the existing social conditions and not necessarily by choice.
I, on the otherhand, am not an ordinary indian thus I dispise indian music, can tolerate chutney, soca, rap and am a rock freak. I prefer mixed girl but married an indian (who looked mixed). The main reason for choosing her was the intelligence factor and absolutely nothing to do with race. I tend to like fair skin girls, not white just fair....although some darkies usually get my blood boiling. I also am a fervent admirer of the ass. I can drink anything.
Now I would prefer to say I have acquaintances rather than friends and I never think of them in terms of colour so I can't distinguish how much of what race they are. Friends are few, mostly indians......but I treat them like acquaintances.
All in all I think you are not flawed in your assessment but you should be general in your discussion as it applies to almost every race due to the existing social conditions mentioned.
Now if you are admitting that africans are racial by your standards and you want to ups the coolies for not wanting to admit they are racial then do your thing.

how many black guys do you have as friends?
how many indian guys do you have as friends?
what kind of music do you listen to?
where do you usually hang out?
your last 2 girlfriends were of what race?
what type of alcoholic beverage do indulge in?
do you feel you alone have the right to use the N word?
what part of a woman's anatomy do you admire the most?

The Leslie Ramsammy Identity
My wife and I had some discussions on the subject and our theory may be closer to the truth than we may realize. Here's our theory.
Leslie can take the lie detector test and will pass because his name was used to get the spy equipment and training for Roger Khan. This is possible because all his assets are in the US and there's nothing here in his name. He may have given permission for his name to be used but he didn't know what it was used for.
During the time when it was disclosed that someone from the GOG knew about the Spy Equip. Leslie began to have falling out with Freedumb House. Could it be that it was then he discovered what his name was used for? Tension has been building up between Leslie and the party, they want to make a scape goat out of him but will he comply?
He has already shown that he is willing to throw a cog in the wheel. I will believe him if he names the persons who prosituted his name. He better start talking fast before they silence him like Sat Sawh. They've alrady spread the rumour that he is very sick. If he stays in Guyana he'll die of some illness.
Watch out LR you better run as fast as you can. They're coming for you.

ProGovt site racist?
I've visited Live In Guyana a few times. I would never link it or publish its link because it is a festering sore on the image of bloggers from Guyana.
It can be best described as a Pro-Indian PPP site and goes to great lengths to discredit any objective person or group seeking to highlight issues of interest to the general populace of Guyana. I remember it attacked the AFC regularly when that party spoke out on many issues including the Freedom of Information legislation and the suppression of the media via the non issuance of radio licences to persons seeking to acquire same.
At first it seemed objective, I saw some articles where PPP members were attacked, even senior Govt members. Then after sometime I began to realise what was going on, it attacked non-indian PPP members.
Based on the writings of the persons behind the blog, it is clear that these are core members of the PPP or they speak on behalf of them. Their belief is that non-indians are given token positions, positions that should have been given to indians.
I hope the non-indian supporters of the PPP and even the higher ups like Sam, Luncheon, Kwame, Caroline etc read that blog carefully. You'll see the hatred these people have for you and others like you. I bet you'll see the hurt and pain in their hearts after reading that site and the worst part is, that it is not directed at the AFC or the PNC, it is directed at YOU.
Claiming that the PPP is a national party is a sham. Sam Hinds should have been president a long time ago. The PPP can prove it is a national party, all it has to do is put Sam Hinds as its presidential candidate. No one in the party is better than him! But they'll never do that because a blackman must not rule them again.

Should you defend your government?
Some thing has been puzzling me since I became aware of politics. The government of the day is supposed to be the servant of the people, look after their interests, protect them........among other things.
If they are caught doing illegal things and are reprimanded by International Agencies, why do people try to defend them? I see a stupid site - Live In Guyana, defending the gov't or publishing articles defending the incompetent government. TIP is a very serious problem in Guyana and no matter how the PPP try to deny its existence, it will always be there to bite them. Anyone who travels frequently to the interior would see its manifestations daily. Underaged Amerindian girls are working in whorehouses (cuyamos) taken there on the false promise of getting a job as a cook. Even the restaurants on the coastland have them there, waitresses by day, sex slaves by night. I'm sure anyone can search through the daily newspapers (online archives) and will find more than 3 documented cases.
This is how advantage is being taken on the Guyanese People by members of the Government and their families.
I'm sure Beri Ramsarran didn't know that as a public official he should not have sex in his Prado on a public road with a 17 yr old girl.
Kellawan Lall didn't do anything wrong when he assaulted a citizen of this country with a gun.
Maniram Prashad son didn't do anything wrong when he ploughed his vehicle into a group of persons killing 1 and injuring others.
Odinga Lumumba wasn't wrong to be cuffing/assaulting a Guyanese citizen in the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
Bibi Shadick didn't see anything wrong with her family drugging then sexually assaulting a female then filming it as a trophy of his conquest.
....I wonder how many of those persons who voted for the PPP actually pay taxes.......

Progress?
I see street lights being installed along the East Bank Demerara Highway at a fair pace so I guess in a short while visitors coming to Guyana via Timehri Airport will have a new development to greet them. No longer would they have to complain about the sharp sudden turns, the jackass minibus drivers who refuse to dim their headlights at oncoming traffic, no longer would they hit those potholes.
I think its a good thing being done, I've visited a few Caribbean Islands and not all their highways have traffic lights. Trinidad has long stretches of roads without street lights.
So its a good thing........until we get black out.
I could imagine a conversation about the street lights.
......Yes abie berbicians prapah happy. Yuh see how de guvament good to abie. Dem gie abie light suh abie cyan get away fram dem blakman nite time. Miss Guyana Universe
I was going through Stolid's post on the issue and I had to make the comment I did.
Stolid this is one of the reasons why Guyana will never ever place in the top five of any miss world/universe. This is not a national event. Its only there to place money in Odinga's pockets. When the man crashed he refused to let someone else manage it so we could have fielded a contestant. Secondly, most of these girls are not the right shape, they have to be size zero (i guess really thin, little or no bubby, no ass, firm legs with no fat, no fat/skin hanging round the shoulder blade area or anywhere on the back for that matter), then you have to be intelligent meaning they atleast a degree (masters preferably) and is employed in a high ranking position in some company, next they should be knowledgeable about world issues particularly those affecting women, children and environment.I came up with these criteria based on the CV's of those selected to compete in the top ten of both Miss Universe and Miss World for the past 10 yrs. Only when Guyana can field a candidate that meets the above mentioned criteria then can we realistically expect a top ten spot.
I'm sick of all these pageants (sex shows) that basically fool these gullible girls into thinking that they have a shot at winning a Miss Universe/Miss World pageant. The idea is right, you start at the village level and you weed out the ugly, stupid and incompetent ones. However, these girls need to be groomed and education must, I repeat MUST be an important aspect of the competition.

heard on the news.....
Robert Persaud asking for those in the forestry and fisheries sector to attend some meeting deaing with the Low Carbon Bullshit. See how stupid they are.....mining is the most destructive activity there is (and the most profitable also) but they're not calling for miners to attend.......
I want to see how this LCD thing would work without mining being curbed. How come nobody asking about this at the launching/press conference or even in the papers.....nothing
Companies in the forestry sector want to get certified, however, they can not because of the mining activities taking place in their concessions....just ask Variety Woods and Greenheart, Toolsie Persaud, Barama and the others.

Waste of taxpayers money
I was driving down the road and saw these weeders cleaning some drain. One chap digging out a small clump of grass for 5 mins. Another one was singing like he auditioning for the cellink jingle competition, swinging his cutlass in the air; and no sign of anything cut around him.
Is this how we're preparing for the raining season? Singing?
O come on now! Fire these lazy mofos!

Interesting
Stolid thinks I'm a little star now. I guess I should be ducking for cover now that the haters will also rise.
Many days I came online viewed the blogs on my list. Thinking of the varying personalities, culture and the fact that they love what they do. I was too lazy to link Imran so I used to read him right after CD Val, through her link. I wanted to post but didn't, many times I disagreed with Stolid on his coolie gyal shit but I overlooked it. I didn't post because everything was mixed up in my life. I sorted that out now and I created The Soulstealer to post my photos and probably dark thoughts.
This blog will be political, I will post on every ill that affect me and my friends until we or someone find a solution. I will campaign vigorously for other influential civil society members to join the AFC and will urge all level headed PNC members to jump the fence and the AFC. I talking to Stanly Ming, Winston Murray, Vincent Alexander, Dr. Van West Charles, Clarisha Rheil etc.
I'm a small man, no connections but I hope the bigger ones who read take notice.

turning point 2
I feel somewhat relieved to get some of the things I wrote the other night off my chest. In an effort to bring things into perspective and probably shed some light as to why I still am in Guyana.
My parents were fairly independent thinkers. I remember my father saying in 1992 that the only reason he's voting is to give the PPP a chance because they deserve it. He said that the PPP allowed the country to be in the state its in because of their communist stance and Cheddi's unwillingness to change will only lead this country into destruction. (I was 11 at the time). Now my father was around 7 at the time of the 1963 events and would have scarcely remembered anything from that era, much less my mother she was only 2. Anyways, my parents finished primary school, my father did prelim (have no idea what that is) and my mother did commercial (something with shorthand typewriting i think). My father was a lover of books and kept himself well informed and my mom did a fair bit of reading also. In other words, they were not your average illiterates.
They never mentioned much of these things about the Africans, actually my mother never did. My father perhaps fewer than 10 times. I do not blame him because of the times he mentioned it; in 1992 when there was looting after the elections, during the saga of Hoyte pledging to make the country ungovernable and in the aftermath of the so-called freedom fighters. One can understand that these events would put someone (my father) in that state of fear or dislike after having been indoctrinated to hate blackman for what they did to the indians. These events actually reinforced those stories of 1963 and made the people cling to the PPP tighter. They were afraid and they wanted a saviour, instead they got the antichrist.
My father never passed on the indoctrination to me and whatever I heard was from the older folks. My father had a friend in Buxton whom he would visit and who in turn would visit us. A learned man, a teacher, my father and him would have heated debates but never about politics. They remained friends until my father's death at the young age of 49. That man (a red man) cried when he heard of my father's passing.
I believe that our generation is the one to acknowledge we have screwed up for not confronting the issue earlier, covering it up like a festering sore, and pretending that it doesn't exist. I believe my father and his peers are the pioneers who took the first step towards reconciliation (they were not political), our generation now has to complete the process so that the next generation can can truly be one people and one nation.
I may write a book about my father someday, we had many differences, but he has taught me well. My mother is the silent partner who supported my every move even when all the world was against me. I'm very grateful to God for the parents he gave me. I can only hope I will be a good father to my future children.

turning point
There comes a time in a man's life that he has to step out of the shadows and into the light. To face the clear and simple truths of his existence. A time for him to reflect on the choices he made and the consequences endured because of those choices.
An an indian growing up, I was told that blackman bad, blackman kill we people in Buxton and Linden, blackman chased us out of our homes in Buxton, blackman tek cutlass and rip open a pregnant woman belly and her child fell out, and blackman rape indian girls mek nuff ah dem kill dem selves.
Its hard to differentiate fiction from truth from these stories. Did this really happen? Were indians so docile that they didn't even fight back? I don't know, I wasn't there.
But in my inexperienced youth I was asked the question, do you want this to happen again? If you vote for the PNC you'll go back to the days of eating rice flour and of indians being victimized. I answered no and voted for the PPP.
The AFC wasn't around and the ghost of the PNC past prevented me from voting for that party and I was told that the WPA was siding with the PNC. I believed that because that was what I saw, ignorant of the fact that opposition parties ought to work together.
The PPP said give them a chance, they didn't get to complete everything they wanted to do, the PNC left the country in debt, granny was doing her on thing and now is really Bharat chance and he gon turn the country around. Well sir you had 8 years as your chance, what did you accomplish other than securing a pension that would make every guyanese want to become the president of this damned cursed place.?
Thanks to the education I recieved, although not the best, I stepped out of the shadows and into self awareness. I realised that milking the past, grilling these stories into the minds of our uneducated people will prevent us from reconciling anytime in the near future. The PPP had played a dangerous game to keep themselves in power and it is by the indians fear of the africans that is the sole reason they are in power. Not by any good works, not by its concern for its citizenry, but by pure fear we are slowly strangling ourselves.
Whether or not the PNC apologise for past mistakes, whether or not a real commission of inquiry can be set up to realistically examine the events in and around 1963, whether or not another party gains power in 2011; the deepseated fear of indians of africans will be there.
How do we, as a nation, seek to address this issue? How?

Technology
I see Imran, PS are sharing bits and pieces of information that will/can put 1st world technology in the hands of the ordinary citizens of Guyana.
I think its time for us to move forward, relegate the government's actions to a small room in the back of our minds and look at how we, the citizens can achieve all that we want for Guyana. It is hard but it must be done. We can not now, or anytime in the future, look to the Gov't to look after our interests. We can see by the tabling of the Former President's Benefits Bill who they are looking out for.
The reason why Indians vote for the PPP is because of their lack of education. The PPP know it and that is why they let the education system fall by the wayside, that is why they are encouraging conflicts at UG, that is why they have failed to regulate private schools thus far and that is why they are witholding subventions from CLC.
With education people can access technology, they can learn to use a computer, get on the internet and listen to the views of other guyanese. They can see/judge for themselves, the differences between Guyana and other developing countries. They'll see how hoodwinked they are and the level of incompetence that surrounds the Govt and the decisions made by it.
Sadly, they will not because they are not educated. We boast of having 99% literacy rate when half of our population would see their names and not recognize it.
Govt's blocking of the issuance of radio licences has effectively sealed the next elections for them as the uneducated will never get a chance to hear the truth.
We, therefore, must seek to educate our brothers, spend time with them, teach them to read, write and use the computer. He will thank you for it and at the end of the day he will be better informed when he makes that significant mark on the ballot paper in 2011.

El Donkeyo Rickford Burke
has not commented on Van West Charles and Aubrey Armstrong as yet. We know he doesn't like Corbin (wonder if corbin raped him too that's why he hate the man) but he should say publicly if he support Charles or Armstrong...even Alexander. Does he intend to run for party leadership himself?
